Roger: One of the things that really caught my attention at Intersil is our New College Grad Program. Many times I have met key engineers at the company that had been through the New College Grad Program and it is something that the CEO feels very strongly about. It is reserved. It is kept in tough times and in good times. And some of our best and brightest people have come out of the New College Graduate Program.
Michelle: This is a great program that the young guys out of college and they don't have too much power background, and they go through this program, they get the understanding of Intersil product lines and also a detailed broad knowledge about power management.
Michael: Even in the intern program, I was given a defined project and it was made clear what was the importance and the goal of that. I was held accountable to complete that by the end of my summer. From when I started here 'til now, I've grown in so many different directions. Learning about the business and the markets. I have to give credit to the people that took the time to help teach me those things.
Mark: I think it's very important to bring in young people into the organization and to mentor them. That energy and drive is key I think to not just Intersil but all companies' success.
