
Radiation‑Tolerant Plastic ICs to Power Small Satellite Mega‑Constellations
Intersil's radiation-tolerant plastic-package ICs are designed to support the emerging field of small satellites that will provide solutions such as high-speed Internet connections to hundreds of millions of users in communities, governments, and businesses worldwide. Fleets of hundreds of small satellites will create mega-constellation networks to deliver broadband Internet links from low Earth orbit (LEO) to every corner of the globe, including rural areas without wireless connectivity access.

Description
The ISL71444M features four radiation tolerant, low-power amplifiers optimized to provide maximum dynamic range. These op amps feature a unique combination of rail-to-rail operation on the input and output as well as a slew enhanced front-end that provides ultra fast slew rates positively proportional to a given step size. They also offer low-power, low-offset voltage, and low temperature drift, making the ISL71444M ideal for applications requiring both high DC accuracy and AC performance.
