Salary – We believe that your salary should be differentiated based on performance and individual level of contribution, while also being aligned with the competitive market range.
Stock – Intersil stock is traded on NASDAQ (ISIL) and available to you through our Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), which discounts the purchase price. You may contribute up to 10% of your after-tax pay into the plan.
Incentives – Our “Success Sharing” program is designed to encourage teamwork across the company, by rewarding employees with a bonus when we achieve our operating income goal.
Health & Wellness
- Insurance – Intersil provides comprehensive medical, dental and vision plans to meet the needs of our employees and their families. Most Intersil benefits are effective the first day of employment.
- Wellness – Intersil offers a variety of wellness resources and activities through the Healthy Living program. Employees are encouraged to take advantage of the on-site gyms and classes that are available at Intersil’s larger facilities.
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – The EAP offers confidential counseling and referral services to you and your family. Intersil proudly provides this Program at no cost to you.
Financial Security
- Flexible Spending Accounts – Defer up to $5,000 pre-tax per year for medical, dental, vision and hearing costs that are not covered by the appropriate plan(s). You can also defer up to $5,000 per year for dependent daycare.
- Insurance – Intersil pays the full cost for your basic life, short-term and long-term disability, accidental death and dismemberment, and business travel insurance. Additional long-term disability insurance, supplemental life insurance and dependent life insurance are also available for optional enrollment.
- 401(K) Plan – Administered by T. Rowe Price, the Intersil 401(k) plan allows employees to contribute 1%-75% of pre tax and 1%-12% percent of after tax eligible compensation. We match 100% up to the first 6%, based on a service requirement. Of course, your contributions and earnings are always yours to keep. The plan accepts rollover contributions from other qualified plans, includes loan and hardship withdrawal features.
Personal Enrichment
- Time Off – Vacation time is accrued bi-weekly and based on years of service, with new employees accruing vacation immediately upon hire. You will also receive seven paid holidays, plus three paid “flex” holidays, each year. We also provide sick-time to care for yourself or your immediate family members.
- Education – Intersil offers an exceptional educational assistance program to our employees, paying up to $10,000 per year to help the employees with their education costs.
- Career Growth – After one year in your present job, you have the opportunity to interview for open positions by using Interpost, our on-line, internal job posting system. If the career move requires relocation, we may even cover the cost for your change of scenery!
Awards & Recognition – Intersil is proud to reward employees who go the extra mile. Golden Quill Awards are bestowed upon employees who publish books and papers, while Patent Awards go to employees who develop technology that is patented by Intersil. Both awards provide financial incentives to further recognize these special contributions
Referral Bonus – The i-Team Employee Referral program offers bonuses up to $2,000 (depending on position) for each candidate referral that results in a successful hire for Intersil.
