ISL9230
Fully integrated 1.5A Linear Lithium Ion/Polymer Charger with 40mΩ Power Path FET for Single Cell Batteries

The life of rechargeable lithium batteries can be shortened by prolonged charging. So it is important to disconnect the charge path after the battery is fully charged. This can be done with conventional charging IC's by turning off the input path and allowing the system to run from the battery. However, the battery can lose 10% or more charge during this time. When the user unplugs the adapter and tries to use the device, the user may find they have to restart charging sooner than expected.
