Our patented Digital Audio Engine™ (DAE) embeds the D2Audio innovations, unique features and superior sound. A powerful digital audio sound processor, the DAE receives audio from multiple digital I2S and S/PDIF sources, processes that audio with its integrated digital audio controller, and produces independent multichannel PWM outputs to drive class-D power stages.

The Digital Audio Engine (DAE) was created through synergy with our principal technologies of PWM engines, asynchronous sample rate converters (ASRC) and digital audio processing algorithms. Four DAE families house D2Audio digital sound processors, decoding sound processors and sound processing amplifiers. Beginning with the original workhorse, the DAE-1, our products now range up to our sophisticated DAE-6) All bring premium sound™ to a wide range of consumer electronics. To push our performance even higher, we include Intelligent Power Stages within our product line. The IPS1 Intelligent Power Stage works hand in glove with D2Audio sound processors with excellent results.
