Pico-2000 Monolithic System
Laser LCOS Pico Projector System Reference Design

Developed for low power and embedded or accessory applications that demand high picture quality, Intersil’s Pico-2000 Monolithic System provides a fully integrated reference design that includes a high volume production ready optical engine, hardware, firmware and customizable design files for Laser LCoS based pico projectors. The image quality is vastly improved by Instersil’s proprietary speckle reduction technology. In addition, the system is capable to 3 or 4 lasers in RGB or RGGB configuration and designed for 20+ lumens of brightness. Intersil’s Pico-2000 Monolithic System utilizes the compact Syndiant SYL2030 LCoS optical engine at 4 cubic centimeters, a compact PCB measuring 2.5-inch by 3-inch and Intersil’s PowerOptimizer function to enable a host of applications. The reference design is targeted for accessory and large embedded applications. For deeply embedded applications, the HDMI receiver, video decode and second laser driver can be removed to shrink board by 40%.
