Intersil offers a broad portfolio of display ICs including gamma buffers, DC-DC regulators, and digitally controlled potentiometers (DCPs) that provide a complete analog solution for high performance LCD displays. Combined, these products provide the analog supply voltage, VCOM reference, voltage-on and voltage-off bias voltages, and the gamma reference voltages that feed the column drivers in LCD displays. Intersil's DC-DC regulators power the low voltage digital ICs used in LCD displays and DCPs control the LCD contrast and brightness.

The ISL97671 is one of the industry best LED drivers that offers high integration, performance, and flexibility in a small form factor. The ISL97671 offers flexible SMBus/I2C or PWM controlled dimming. It features excellent ch-to-ch current matching. The driver provides optional channel phase shift control to minimize the input, output ripple characteristics and load transients as well as spreading the light output to help reduce the video and audio interference from the backlight driver operation. In addition, the PWM dimming linearity achieves an impressive 0.4% at 30kHz or 0.007% at 200Hz that such performance can be utilized to extend battery run time for Tablet to Notebook PC applications.

The ISL76671 is a low cost, light-to-voltage silicon optical sensor combining a photodiode array, a non-linear current amplifier and a micro-power op amp on a single monolithic IC.
