FemtoCharge™

FemtoCharge™ is a charge-domain signal processing technology that drastically reduces the power consumption over traditional voltage-domain design techniques. This enables:

Equal performance @ lower power

    Increased battery life for portable/hand-held devices
    Reduction in heat generated by the system
    Improved reliability and increased product lifetime

Increased performance @ equal power

    Increased sensitivity for portable/hand-held devices that are power constrained

I2E

I2E is Intersil's proprietary hybrid digital/analog background calibration technique that continuously adjusts the gain, offset, and sample phase of two ADC cores. This allows for high performance, transparent interleaving of two ADC cores, enabling a low cost, low power approach to doubling the effective sampling rate of an ADC.
