Image Correction Technology
Intersil's fisheye image correction camera processing capabilities will help correct distorted hemispherical images generated by fisheye lens’ ultra-wide field of view and deliver corrected images in a normalized rectangular output.
Unlike software-based solutions requiring a PC, the Intersil technology has been designed specifically to be integrated into IP and analog camera solutions.
The technology includes a high quality, high resolution Image Signal Processor (ISP) as well as an extremely flexible video output capability. This Fisheye correction technology is designed to work with all types of fisheye lenses and a wide variety of commercially available CMOS and CCD sensors.
