IPS1

The IPS-1 intelligent power stage is a high performance Class-D driver comprised of 4 independent outputs with integrated and intelligent control. Its four configurable outputs operate as separate half bridge outputs, as full bridge outputs, or in mixed full and half bridge modes, and also especially designed to work in conjunction with D2Audio DAE sound processors.

With its high efficiency and audio performance, the IPS-1 can drive 2 full bridge 8 ohm channels of over 25 watts each with less than 1% THD+N, or can drive 4 independent half bridge loudspeaker channels. In a parallel full bridge output configuration, the IPS-1 supports over 50 watts at less than 1%THD+N into 4 ohms, ideal for powered loudspeaker or powered subwoofer applications. Each high and low half bridge FET can be driven independently for flexible dead time control, enabling tradeoffs for efficiency, EMI, and audio fidelity. Each of its four output outputs includes their own drivers and over-current monitoring, supporting graceful protection and intelligent management.
