Description

The EL5625 represents a high integration programmable buffer solution from Intersil. The device integrates 18- channels of programmable buffers, with a single programmable VCOM, a reference output, and a supply side LDO.

The 18-channel programmable buffers have 11-bit resolution and rail-to-rail outputs. Each output is capable of driving 15mA continuous.

The VCOM output also features 11-bits of resolution. The generated voltage is connected to the non-inverting input of the integrated VCOM amplifier. This amplifier has a shortcircuit current of 1A, 100mA continuous.

The integrated low drop-out regulator is used, in conjunction with an external transistor, to provide a solid supply voltage to the device. It features 200mV minimum drop-out and has very good load regulation for the cleanest gamma and VCOM outputs.

The EL5625 also includes over-temperature protection and is available in a 38 Ld QFN package.
