Xicor® Announces High Performance 4.096V Voltage References

MILPITAS, California January 26, 2004 Xicor, Inc. (NASDAQ: XICO), a leading supplier of high performance analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits, today announced the 4.096V version of its X60008 voltage reference products. The X60008BIS8-41, X60008CIS8-41 and X60008DIS8-41 are the latest addition to Xicors extensive family of ultra low power precision voltage references manufactured using the companys proprietary Floating Gate Analog (FGA) technology.
The device features guaranteed initial accuracy as low as ±0.5mV, temperature coefficients as tight as 3ppm/°C and 10 ppm/1000 hours long-term stability. The X60008-41 family of devices provide precision voltage references in a wide range of voltage options and consume only 500nA of supply current making them an ideal solution for precision and battery-powered applications.
With the release of the 4.096V devices, Xicor continues to expand its voltage reference product line and enable designers to meet higher standards of stability and accuracy in both industrial and portable systems, commented Jules Farago, marketing manager. These products provide a unique combination of performance in initial accuracy, temperature coefficient, long term stability and ultra low power consumption. Typically, comparable high precision voltage references are both expensive and limited in availability, oftentimes forcing system designers to tradeoff higher power consumption for better temperature stability. Xicor eliminates the need to compromise.
The X60008BIS8-41, X60008CIS8-41 and X60008DIS8-41 in 8-lead SOIC are now available with 1k unit prices starting at $6.15, $4.55 and $3.15 respectively.
