SMC Chooses Intersil's PRISM GT Chip Set for its 802.11g Products

-- New family of 802.11g draft wireless networking products feature Intersil chips for speed, reliability and compatibility

Shipping in March, SMC’s first 802.11g products — the Barricade™ G 2.4 GHz 54 Mbps Wireless Cable/DSL Broadband Router, the EZ Connect™ G 2.4 GHz 54 Mbps Wireless PCI Card and the EZ Connect™ G 2.4 GHz 54 Mbps Wireless CardBus Adapter — all incorporate the Intersil PRISM GT chip set.
