Intersil to Highlight New Zilker Labs™ Products, Innovative Systems Solutions, and a Look into the Future of Digital Power Management at PCIM

Milpitas, CA, May 6, 2009 – Intersil Corporation (NASDAQ Global Select: ISIL), will unveil to the media the first of several innovative digital power management products based on its patented Zilker Labs Digital-DC™ technology. In addition, the company will highlight an advanced power module and powerful design software. Power Management expert Chris Young will participate in a panel discussion on power systems design.
Editors are invited to meet with Intersil and Zilker spokespersons to learn about:
- The new ZL2008, a flexible building block for DC power that can be easily adapted to designs ranging from a single or multiphase power supply operating from a 3.3 V to 12 V input, eliminating the need for complicated power supply managers.
- The ISL8201M Power Module, which allows designers to implement a complete power supply using minimal components, which saves board space and reduces bill of material (BOM) costs.
- Demos of Intersil’s PowerNavigator™ Evaluation and CompZL™ development tools
- Digital power management expert Chris Young will present at a panel entitled “Power Design for Economic and Ecological Success.” The panel discussion will take place on Wednesday, 13 May between 1600 and 1700 at Hall 12, Stand 363.
