Intersil Showcases High-Performance Analog Technology at Electronica 2006

— Intersil to Feature Leading-Edge Analog Products in its Booth and will Present on Automotive Infotainment Applications at Electronica on Thursday, November 16, 2006

ELECTRONICA, Munich, November 6, 2006 – Intersil Corporation (NASDAQ Global Select: ISIL), a world leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance analog semiconductors, today announced that it will showcase its analog products and technology at Electronica 2006 from November 14-17, 2006 in Hall A4, Booth 207 at the New Trade Fair Centre in Munich, Germany. Intersil will display its complete portfolio of high-performance analog products that address the industry’s fastest-growing markets.

Analog Technology on Display
Intersil will show its first families of parts for the growing precision amplifier and automotive markets. It will also feature power management products for industrial, communications and medical applications, as well as high-speed and video amplifier products. From high-performance video amplifiers to differential line equalizers, Intersil's family of video products can address any portion of the analog signal chain.

Demonstrations will include automotive infotainment technology, precision amplifiers, voltage references, analog switches, video and interface products, light-to-digital sensors and digitally controlled potentiometers (DCPs). Power product demonstrations will include PWM controllers, integrated FET regulators, supervisors, sequencers, power MOSFET drivers, hot plug controllers, isolated power and ORing FET controllers. Intersil’s iSim™ online design tool for power and amplifier products will be featured as well.
