Intersil Ships 75 Millionth LCD Reference Buffer for Flat Panel Displays

MILPITAS, CA, April 22, 2003 Intersil Corporation (NASDAQ: ISIL), a world leader in the design and manufacture of high performance analog and wireless networking solutions, today announced that it has shipped its 75 millionth Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) reference buffer integrated circuit (IC). Intersil is the worlds leading supplier of reference buffer ICs used to enhance color performance of thin film transistor (TFT) LCD displays for flat panel monitors, notebooks and LCD TV applications.
