Intersil Digital Power Module Wins Prestigious China ACE Award (ZL9101M)
The ZL9101M Receives Top Honors in Power Devices/Voltage Converter Category
MILPITAS, CA - (Marketwire - Feb 24, 2012) - Intersil Corporation (NASDAQ: ISIL) today announced it has won the product award for the 2012 China Annual Creativity in Electronics Awards , which honors technologies that provide significant design benefits to engineers and shape innovative electronic architecture in mainland China. By the voting of design engineers in China, Intersil's ZL9101M , the industry's first fully encapsulated digital power module, was selected as the winner in the "Power Devices/Voltage Converter" category.
The ZL9101M is a 12A variable output step-down PMBus-compliant digital power supply. Included in the module is a high performance digital PWM controller, power MOSFETs, an inductor and all the passive components required for a complete, highly integrated, simple to use, DC/DC power solution. It has built-in auto-compensation algorithms, which eliminates the need for manual compensation design work while also delivering greater than 90 percent efficiency and fast transient response.
