Intersil Corporation Selects Susan Hardman to Lead Corporate Marketing and Business Development
-- Will also lead Intersil's Investor Relations program beginning in October
MILPITAS, CA, September 13, 2004 Intersil Corporation (NASDAQ: ISIL), a world leader in the design and manufacture of high performance analog solutions, today announced the appointment of Susan Hardman as its new Vice President, Corporate Marketing. Ms. Hardman will be responsible for corporate marketing and business development. In addition, within the next two months, she will also oversee the corporate investor relations activities.
We are delighted that Susan has joined Intersil. She brings an excellent mix of general management and marketing capabilities, said Rich Beyer, Intersils president and chief executive officer. We expect Susan to enhance our global branding, advertising, marketing and market research efforts as well as our Internet and channel marketing programs.
Ms. Hardman comes to Intersil from Exar Corporation where she was most recently Vice President and General Manager of the Interface Products Division. Her previous two assignments at Exar were Vice President, Corporate Marketing and, earlier, Director of Marketing, Communications Division. Before joining Exar, Ms. Hardman held various engineering and technical management positions at VLSI Technology and Motorola. Ms. Hardman holds a BS degree in Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. About Intersil
