Intersil Collaborates with IDT to Create Highly-Integrated, Space-Saving Enterprise Voice Access Solutions

— Programmable solutions poised to save customers cost, space, and time to market

IRVINE, CA, May 22, 2001 – Intersil (NASDAQ: ISIL), a leading provider of silicon technology for wireless access and communications analog markets, announced today that it has entered into a collaborative agreement with Integrated Device Technology, Inc. (IDT) (NASDAQ: IDTI), a leading communications provider, to develop voice access solutions for telecommunications applications. IDT and Intersil will initially offer voice access solutions that will include evaluation boards, reference designs and collateral materials for enterprise, wireless and access network end-markets.
