Intersil Chosen as Primary Power Chip Supplier for Bel Fuse's Power Modules

IRVINE, CA, November 19, 2002 Intersil Corporation (NASDAQ: ISIL), a world leader in the design and manufacture of high performance analog and wireless networking solutions, today announced that Bel Fuse Inc. (NASDAQ:BELFA & NASDAQ:BELFB), a premier developer of magnetic-based solutions and point-of-load dc/dc converters for networking and computing applications, has selected Intersil as a primary supplier of power ICs for their high-performance point-of-load (POL) power modules.
Bel Fuse offers a complete line of DC/DC converter modules utilizing both thick-film and printed-circuit-board hybrid technologies for products in communications, industrial and consumer markets. They also provide custom designs and special packaging to meet customer specifications, as well as contract manufacturing of these products. Intersils Endura power ICs help Bel Fuse save space, reduce parts count and offer high performance products for their customers.
