Intersil CEO Dave Bell to Deliver Keynote Address at Global Semiconductor Alliance Leaders Forum in Taiwan
Scheduled For November 5, 2008, GSA Forum Theme Will Be “Bridging The World”
MILPITAS, CA, October 29, 2008 Intersil Corporation (NASDAQ Global Select: ISIL), a world leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance analog semiconductors, today announced that Chief Executive Officer and President Dave Bell will be a keynote speaker at the 2008 Global Semiconductor Alliance Leaders Forum at the Ambassador Hotel in Hsinchu, Taiwan on November 5, 2008.
In his remarks to the GSA Leaders Forum, Bell plans to review the many changes in the analog market and will suggest approaches for combining the strengths of U.S. and Asian companies.
Bell recently addressed a conference in Washington, D.C. sponsored by the American Chemical Society on the topic of funding basic scientific research.
The 2008 GSA Leaders Forum will also feature a workshop focused on designing for low-power technologies. Intersil Corporation is a leader in providing low-power analog semiconductor solutions.
In April 2007, Bell was named the companys chief operating officer and was named CEO in February 2008. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Semiconductor Industry Association.
Bell earned a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
