Intersil and Digi-Key Announce Expanded Distribution Agreement
MILPITAS, CA, August 25, 2004 Intersil Corporation (NASDAQ: ISIL), a world leader in the design and manufacture of high performance analog solutions, announced today that it has signed an agreement with Digi-Key Corporation, a leading global distributor of electronic components, to distribute Intersil products worldwide. All of Intersils standard products will be available from Digi-Keys catalogues and web sites.
Digi-Keys excellent service capabilities will enable Intersil to make our products more accessible to designers and provide our customers with superior services and support systems, said Rich Beyer, president and CEO of Intersil.
