Elantec Semiconductor Sets Price Of Public Offering
MILPITAS, CALIFORNIA, September 19, 2000 - Elantec Semiconductor, Inc. (Nasdaq: ELNT) today announced a public offering of 1,600,000 shares of its common stock at $81.25 per share on the Nasdaq National Market. Of this amount, 1,520,000 shares were offered by the Company and 80,000 shares were offered by selling stockholders. The Company has granted the underwriters an option to purchase an additional 240,000 shares of its common stock to cover over-allotments, if any. Robertson Stephens, Inc. is acting as the lead underwriter of the offering. The co-managers are Banc of America Securities LLC, Thomas Weisel Partners LLC and Adams, Harkness & Hill, Inc.
Elantec designs, manufactures and markets high performance analog integrated circuits primarily for the video, optical storage, communication and power management markets.
