EDN Names Intersil's MegaQ™ Adaptive Equalizer as One of its Hot 100 New Products for 2010
Innovative Video Solution, Designed to Equalize Video over Mile-Long Cables, Wins in EDN's Analog Category
Milpitas, CA – January 12, 2011 – Intersil Corporation (NASDAQ Global Select: ISIL) – today announced that the new MegaQ™ adaptive equalizer IC has been named one of EDN Magazine's Hot 100 products for 2010.
MegaQ™, which was introduced worldwide in October 2010, was selected by EDN editors in the publication's analog category. The family of devices is the industry's most innovative and versatile single-channel, adaptive equalizers for delivering composite video through cables. They are designed to automatically equalize video over popular and inexpensive Cat 5 cable as well as the more traditional coaxial cable.
