James Diller
Interim President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director
Mr. Diller is the Interim President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of the company. Prior to this role, Mr. Diller has been one of the Company’s Directors since May 2002. Mr. Diller is a retired Chairman of the Board of Elantec Semiconductor, Inc., a post he held from 1997 to May 2002. Mr. Diller served as a Director of Elantec Semiconductor, Inc. from 1986 to May 2002 when Elantec was acquired by Intersil. From November 1998 to July 2000, he served as Elantec’s President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Diller is a founder of PMC-Sierra, Inc., a company that engages in the design, development, marketing, and support of communications semiconductors, storage semiconductors, and microprocessors and was its President and Chief Executive Officer from 1983 to 1997; he is currently Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. In addition, Mr. Diller became Chairman of the Board of Avago Technologies Limited, a leading global manufacturer of optoelectronics and analog interface components, in January 2010 and previously served on the Board of Avago since December 2005. He was a Director of Sierra Wireless, Inc. from 1993 through 2003. Mr. Diller also serves on the Board of Directors of a privately-held company. Mr. Diller holds a B.S. degree in physics from the University of Rhode Island.

Jonathan Kennedy
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Jonathan Kennedy is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Intersil Corporation. He was appointed to this position in April 2009. Prior to this, Mr. Kennedy served as Interim Chief Financial Officer of the company from December 2008 to April 2009. He also served as Intersil's Corporate Controller from December 2005 - April 2009. Mr. Kennedy joined Intersil in June 2004 as a Finance Director. Prior to joining Intersil, he served as Director of Finance and Information Technology at Alcon, Inc. from July 2000 to June 2004. Prior to this, Mr. Kennedy held management roles in finance and information technology at Autonomous Technologies and Harris Corporation.
Mr. Kennedy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Master of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Central Florida. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Andrew Cowell
Senior Vice President, Power Management Products Group
Andrew Cowell is Senior Vice President of Intersil’s Power Management Products Group. In addition to overseeing the power management business, Mr. Cowell has responsibility for the consumer related business which develops and markets system solutions for the consumer market. Prior to his current role, Mr. Cowell was Senior Vice President, Consumer Products Group at Intersil. Mr. Cowell joined Intersil from Micrel Semiconductor, where he served for four years as Vice President of Analog Marketing. Prior to this, Mr. Cowell served as the head of Micrel’s Strategic Applications division with responsibility for new product definition for power products. He also served in the role of Marketing and Applications Manager for the power product line. Prior to joining Micrel, Mr. Cowell worked for Siliconix Semiconductor where he held a variety of technical positions throughout the world. Mr. Cowell began his career as a design engineer at Advanced Power Supplies.
Mr. Cowell holds a First Class Honors degree in Electronics from Middlesex University in the UK.

Gerry Edwards
Senior Vice President, Worldwide Operations and Technology
Gerry Edwards is Senior Vice President, Worldwide Operations and Technology. Mr. Edwards joins Intersil from National Semiconductor where he served as Vice President of Worldwide Operations and Quality since 2009. Prior to this role, Mr. Edwards served as Vice President, United Kingdom Operations. Before his tenure at National Semiconductor, Mr. Edwards held a variety of semiconductor manufacturing operations management positions, including fab operations and engineering management positions at Philips Semiconductors and ST Microelectronics.
Mr. Edwards holds a BSc in Physics from Lancaster University and an MBA from the University of Wales. He is a past President of Scottish Engineering, and a past Director of the National Microelectronics Institute (UK). He is also a past Chairman of the Scottish Manufacturing Advisory Board. In addition, Mr. Edwards received an honorary doctorate from the University of West Scotland in 2002 in recognition of his contribution to manufacturing. At the 2007 Queen's Birthday Honors, he received an OBE for services to Scottish business.

Susan Hardman
Senior Vice President, Analog and Mixed Signal Products Group
Susan Hardman is senior vice president of Intersil’s Analog and Mixed Signal Products Group. Prior to her current role, Ms. Hardman has served as vice president and general manager of Intersil’s Automotive and Specialty products group and vice president of Intersil’s Corporate Marketing. Ms. Hardman has over 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. She joined Intersil from Exar Corporation, where she was vice president and general manager of the company’s Interface products division. Prior to that, she served as vice president of Corporate Marketing and director of Product Marketing for Exar. Before Exar, Ms. Hardman worked for VLSI Technology for eight years and held a variety of management positions, most recently as director of Product Marketing for the company’s Networking Products Group. Ms. Hardman began her career with Motorola, where she worked for six years in a variety of engineering roles. Ms. Hardman holds a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA degree from the University of Phoenix. She was also named an Outstanding Chemical Engineer by Purdue University in 2004.

Vern Kelley
Senior Vice President, Human Resources
Vern Kelley is Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Intersil Corporation. Mr. Kelley joined Intersil in February 2003 and is responsible for overseeing human resource activities for all of Intersil's global locations.
He joined Intersil from National Semiconductor where he was VP of Human Resources for their product divisions. In his 19-year tenure at National, Mr. Kelley held a variety of leadership positions within human resources, most recently partnering with business group leaders to ensure that the human resource efforts supported each business group's strategic direction. He oversaw HR activities associated with National's acquisition, divestiture, and joint venture activities which included joint ventures and acquisitions in China and Europe. His HR management experience includes development and implementation of performance management, success sharing, productivity improvement, and training and development programs. Before joining National in 1983, Mr. Kelley was a division employee relations manager for Allstate Insurance Company.
Mr. Kelley is a recipient of the 2007 HR Symposium "HR Excellence" Award. He also served on the Board of Directors of the United Way Silicon Valley from 2005 to 2008.
Mr. Kelley earned a Master of Science degree in Organizational Behavior from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of the Pacific.

David Loftus
Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Corporate Marketing
As Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Corporate Marketing, David Loftus oversees worldwide OEM and Distributor sales, Global Customer Care Network, and Marketing Communications for Intersil Corporation. Mr. Loftus was previously at Xilinx, Inc. for 17 years, most recently holding the position of Vice President and General Manager of the General Products Division at Xilinx. Prior to that, his positions at Xilinx included General Manager of the CPLD Division, and Vice President/Managing Director of Xilinx Asia Pacific. In his Asia Pacific executive position, Mr. Loftus was based in Hong Kong where his primary role was to build an organization and market strategy capable of supporting customers in the region including the key markets of Korea, Taiwan, ASEAN, India, Australia and China. His responsibilities included direct sales, field applications, distribution, regional marketing and customer service. He was in this role for over three years before moving into a product division general manager role for Xilinx in San Jose, California. Mr. Loftus also held the position of Regional Sales Manager - Southeast United States, as well as other positions with growing responsibility while at Xilinx. Prior to joining Xilinx, Mr Loftus was a Research Engineer and Program Manager at Georgia Tech Research Institute for seven years. Mr. Loftus holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a master’s degree in Management from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia.

Tom Tokos
Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
Tom Tokos is Intersil's Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, responsible for all of the company's legal affairs. He joined Intersil from Asyst Technologies, a semiconductor equipment designer and manufacturer, where he was vice president and General Counsel for the publicly traded company. Prior to Asyst, he was Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for VLSI Technology, SyQuest and a semiconductor design automation software company. Mr. Tokos brings more than 19 years of legal management, corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions, and intellectual property experience to his key role at Intersil. His leadership of Intersil's Legal Department and valuable insight will enable the company to leverage and protect its high performance analog technology and resources. He earned a Juris Doctor degree with Honors from Georgetown University. He also holds a Masters degree in Physics and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Ohio University.

Michael Althar
Vice President & GM, Intersil MultiMarket Power Products
Michael Althar is Vice President and General Manager of Intersil's Multi-Market Power Products where he is leading efforts to expand Intersil’s presence in the Dense Power and Cloud Computing areas. Prior to his current role, Mr. Althar served as VP/GM of Intersil’s Specialty Products Group where he helped re-energize activity in this area resulting in the development of the worlds first SEE and total dose radiation hardened PWM regulators and establishment of industry leading ELDRS production testing for rad hard products. Previously Mr. Althar served as vice president of Marketing and Applications for Intersil’s Core and High Reliability products including military, radiation hardened, custom and commlink products serving the high reliability, space, medical and communications markets. Responsibilities in this role included establishment of Intersil's Bangalore, India design center and leading corporate Reliability and Package Engineering organizations. Prior to that, he served three years as vice president and plant manager of Intersil’s Ohio-based wafer fab operations. Mr. Althar came to Intersil from Harris Corporation where he spent 16 years in a variety of engineering and management roles, including two years as director of product/test/assembly engineering at Harris' Malaysian assembly and test facility. Mr. Althar holds a BSEE from Case Western Reserve University and a MSEM from Southern Methodist University.

Majid Kafi
Vice President and General Manager, Computing Products Group
Mr. Majid Kafi is Vice President and General Manager of Intersil’s Computing Products Group, which develops and markets high performance analog and digital controllers for a variety of computing applications. Prior to his current role, Mr. Kafi served as Intersil’s Product Line Director for the Notebook and Desktop computing group. He joined Intersil in 2003, after serving at Analog Devices Inc. and Precision Monolithics, Inc., for a combined period of over 18 years in a variety of engineering and product marketing roles. Mr. Kafi’s knowledge in the analog and power management technology and markets helped define a number of successful products. In addition, his ability to execute strategic objectives has resulted in revenue growth in the product lines he has managed.
Mr. Kafi holds a MSEE and BSEE in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University and an MBA from National University in San Jose, California.

Paul Sferrazza
Vice President and General Manager, Infrastructure and General Purpose Products Group
Paul Sferrazza is Vice President and General Manager of Intersil’s Infrastructure and General Purpose Products Group. Prior to his current role, Mr. Sferrazza served one year as vice president and four years as director of Intersil’s Power Management IC Design group. Prior to that, he spent two years as senior manager of IC Design and Applications for Desktop/Server power products. Mr. Sferrazza came to Intersil from Harris Corporation, where he worked for three years as senior manager of Microcontroller Design and Applications and three years as a senior principal member of Microcontroller Design Engineering. Prior to Harris, Mr. Sferrazza held various positions in microcontroller design, applications, and product marketing management for GE/RCA Solid State.
Mr. Sferrazza holds a BSES degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Yale University. He holds 10 U.S. patents.

Huibert Verhoeven
Vice President and General Manager, Mixed Signal Systems
Huibert Verhoeven is Vice President and General Manager of Intersil's Mixed Signal Systems Products Group, which develops and markets high performance mixed signal system solutions for consumer and industrial applications, with focus on video surveillance and optical system solutions. Prior to his current role Mr. Verhoeven led Intersil’s High Speed organization, focused on a wide range of consumer, communication and industrial General Purpose and Application Specific Semiconductor Products. In addition he was responsible for Intersil’s Automotive Product Lines, CAE and Digital Design Automation organizations. He joined Intersil from National Semiconductor Corporation, where he was the World-Wide Design Director for the Precision and Low-Voltage/Low-Power amplifier group. Mr. Verhoeven was a driving force behind the development of National Semiconductor's Precision Product strategy. In his Design Director position he managed two US-based and two International development centers and was the Managing Director of National Semiconductor's subsidiary in the Netherlands.
Mr. Verhoeven holds an MSEE and Ph.D. degree from Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands. He holds US and international patents and is the author of over 10 peer-reviewed and trade publication articles.

Terry Brophy
Vice President, Information Technology
Terry Brophy is Vice President, Information Technology for Intersil Corporation in Milpitas, California. Ms. Brophy has over twenty years of experience in the semiconductor industry. Since joining the company in 1983 she has held various leadership positions within the IT organization and Business Development. Terry Brophy is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a degree in Business Administration.

Philip Chesley
Vice President and General Manager, High Performance Analog
Philip Chesley is Vice President and General Manager of Intersil’s High Performance Analog business unit, which develops and markets analog solutions for the signal path and high reliability markets. Prior to this appointment, he served in multiple positions of growing responsibility at Intersil including Product Line Director for Intersil’s High Reliability product line and product line management positions for Intersil’s desktop and server power business. Mr. Chesley joined Intersil from Primarion, where he served for five years as founder and Director of Marketing and Application engineering overseeing Primarion’s digital control power business. Prior to this, Mr. Chesley served as Director of Marketing for Vivid Semiconductor, an analog semiconductor provider focused on solutions for the LCD display market. Mr. Chesley holds a MBA from Duke University Fuqua School of Business and a BS degree from Brigham Young University.
