DAE-1 Brings a Wealth of Capabilities

The DAE-1 incorporates four independant PWM controllers that can be used in a variety of configurations from BiAmp Stereo solutions to solutions with up to 4 independent channels. The inter-chip communication interface allows two or more DAE-1 devices to work in tandem to support 5.1 to 7.1 home theater as well as 8-channel and higher multi-room audio amplifiers.

Advanced Sample Rate Converters (SRCs) are used on everychannel to deliver the very best audio performance using high-performance re-clocking that maintains SNR as high as 114dB and 0.05% THD+N.

The combination of adaptive PWM controllers and independent SRCs delivers 55dB better THD+N than competing solutions. The inaccuracies encountered with analog-to-digital conversion followed by digital-to-analog conversion of most systems are avoided.

D2Audio processing and enhancement software adds an additional level of sound quality adjustment by keeping all data and processing completely in the digital domain. This allows the most discerning listener to tweak their final product to deliver an exacting sound character.
