To reach Intersil Palm Bay Campus From Orlando International Airport:
It is about 75-80 miles from the Orlando airport to the Palm Bay
Campus of Intersil. You should expect about 1-1/2 hours for the
trip depending on traffic conditions.
From the Orlando International Airport area come EAST on the Beachline (also
called State Road 528) for about 30 miles or so. Do NOT take the 520 EXIT
that will take you to Cocoa (this is a 2-lane highway). Continue through
one toll booth and keep going EAST on the Beachline.
You will come to a divided fork in the Beachline where the LEFT fork
goes to the Space Center and the RIGHT fork goes to Cocoa/Melbourne.
Take the RIGHT fork and continue on the Beachline until you come to the
I-95 SOUTH EXIT -- exit RIGHT onto
I-95.
Continue SOUTH on I-95 past several exits. You will pass exits for
Fiske (#195), Wickham Road/King Center (#191), Eau Gallie Blvd (#183), 192/New Haven (#180). If you are staying at the MARRIOTT
COURTYARD, use EXIT #180. Turn LEFT (EAST) at the exit stop light and
proceed EAST on 192 (also called NEW HAVEN AVENUE) for several miles. The
Marriott will be on your right, BEFORE you reach Melbourne Square Mall
(on your left).
EXIT (#176) is the one for PALM BAY ROAD (PB Road). Exit RIGHT, then
go EAST (LEFT) at the STOP light onto PB Road. Go EAST on PB Road onto
the overpass going over I-95. Continue EAST for a couple miles through
several lights until you come to the intersection of PB Road and Babcock
Street. There will be a CHILI's Restaurant on your RIGHT at the light.
Continue EAST on PB Road, past a blinking light at the Fire Station
(which will be on your RIGHT).
There will be a traffic light at Clearmont, then one at Troutman.
Continue through Troutman (Harris Government Communication Systems on your
RIGHT).
Continue to the next light, which is RJ Conlan Blvd. Make a
left at this light, then turn onto the first median opening on your left
You will see a large light gray building across from the opening; this is
Intersil BLDG. 62. Make a left onto the road in front of Bldg. 62. Turn right
into the parking lot loop in the very front of the building. Park in one
of the “CUSTOMER PARKING” slots, then enter the double doors
to see the receptionist, who will notify the host of your arrival.
