Intersil East, our largest domestic facility, is located on Florida's sunny Space Coast. As the Space Coast name indicates, lots of rockets and space shuttles launch from the area. (How much more high tech can you get?)

With 72 miles of pristine Atlantic coastline, Florida's Space Coast offers exhilarating recreational opportunities including sailing, water-skiing, fishing, biking and tennis. In fact, don't be surprised to discover that your boss may don a wetsuit and surfboard on weekends! So you don't picture yourself learning how to surf? Well, we're sure you will find plenty to do in the 169 parks, 23 golf courses and 30 marinas. If you are still bored, you can advance your education at one of the several major accredited universities located in central Florida.

If you join the Intersil East team, you will be living only one hour from the "Number One Tourist Destination in the World" - Orlando. In Orlando, you can enjoy the major theme parks of Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World, as well as the city's cultural and shopping opportunities. In fact, the biggest problem that usually faces new college grads who relocate to the Space Coast is dealing with all the friends and family who want to visit. After all, you will be living where most people go for a vacation!
